Welcome to rabbitchildren.wordpress.com! Rabbit Children is a five-piece indie rock band from Chicago. The band got its start in 2007 when, after graduating college, childhood friends Michael Danaher and Blake Hand began recording random original songs on home recording equipment in their parents’ basements. It wasn’t long before they realized they really had something and enlisted college friends Steve Tartaglione and Natalie Catron and hometown Rockfordian Noah Rotello to lend their talents and to flesh out the music.
In 2009, Rabbit Children recorded and released its debut album, Thou Shalt Have A Time Machine, and began playing shows throughout the Midwest. They have recently finished up work on their follow-up EP, Cemetery Friends, which is now available for purchase. Look out for future shows at a venue near you!
